Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
This site is operated by Pro Solar (San Diego, California) to present a private solar proposal to you. This policy describes exactly what the site collects and why — it's short because we collect little.
2. What we collect
Access cookie. Entering your access code sets a single functional cookie so you stay signed in to your proposal for up to 90 days. It contains no personal data beyond your proposal reference.
Your configuration choices. Layout, battery, and permitting selections are stored in your browser's local storage and in the page URL on your device. They are sent to us only if you submit the acceptance form.
Acceptance form. If you approve the proposal, we receive the name, email, phone number, and system configuration you submit, so we can schedule your survey.
Assistant questions. Questions you ask the proposal assistant are processed to generate an answer and logged (question text only) so we can prepare better answers for you.
Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, request time) for security and operations.
3. What we don't do
No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no selling or renting of your information, ever. The site is marked "noindex" so search engines don't list it.
4. Service providers
The site runs on Vercel (hosting and logs). Assistant questions are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses. If email notifications are enabled, acceptance notices are delivered via Resend. Each provider processes data only to provide its service.
5. Retention
Proposal records and acceptance details are kept for the duration of your project and as required for legal and warranty purposes. Assistant question logs are kept only as long as needed to support your proposal.
6. Your choices and rights
You can clear the access cookie and local storage in your browser at any time. California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information under the CCPA. To exercise any right, just reply to Tim's email — there's no form to hunt for.
7. Contact
Privacy questions: reply to Tim's email, call 310.453.5555, or use "Book a call" on your proposal page. Pro Solar · San Diego, California.
